MATH 620 - Graduate Algebra Units: 4 Advanced study of abstract algebra. Groups, homomorphishms, quotient groups. Rings, integral domains, fields.
Prerequisites: MATH 310 and MATH 320. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Evaluate and create proofs in graduate level algebra using the fundamental definitions and theorems.
- Create solutions to problems using techniques in graduate level algebra.
- Communicate graduate level algebra effectively.
