Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Explain housing research by following a step-by-step approach to identify a housing question/issue/motivation, provide a literature review, collect and discuss data (including descriptive statistics), discuss and use a specific methodology to analyze data, summarize results, and provide a conclusion which includes policy implication(s).
- Apply and discuss the hedonic methodology to estimate the value of housing characteristics such as a bedroom as well as the overall value of house prices.
- Critique advanced topics which pertain to real estate markets.
