MGMT 369 - Supply Management and E-Commerce

Concepts and applications of current advances in managing supply of goods and services, including strategic sourcing, computerized purchasing, online auctions, contract design, enterprise software application, quality control, cost analysis, price negotiation, inventory management, and capital equipment procurement.

Equivalent Quarter Course: MGMT 3624.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Evaluate the potential contribution of suppliers and effective purchasing and supply management to corporate or organizational strategy and objectives.
  2. Identify and analyze major decisions and problems facing managers in supply management and to apply the appropriate concepts, tools and techniques in their resolution.
  3. Recognize strengths and weaknesses of existing suppliers, purchasing and supply management organizations, policies and practices.
