MGMT 364 - Global Supply Chain Management

Concepts and tools necessary to configure and manage supply chains in a global environment. Topics include network design, strategic planning, supply chain coordination, resource allocation, capacity design, transportation management, material handling, and information technology.

Prerequisites: MGMT 360.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MGMT 3645.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Develop a systematic framework for analyzing the behavior of large and complex supply chain networks.
Compare and contrast the motivations of suppliers, producers, and distributors in ensuring supply of raw materials and availability of finished goods.
Utilize information technology and various quantitative and qualitative approaches that reduce production, inventory and transportation costs, and improve service levels and profitability.
