MGMT 620 - Leading Teams and Managing Creativity Units: 3 Development of skills in effectively leading teams and fostering creativity. Explores interpersonal processes, team structure, intra-team relationships, and knowledge sharing as factors influencing team effectiveness; and theoretical conceptualizations of creativity and practical methods for fostering creativity in individuals and teams.
Prerequisites: Post-baccalaureate standing. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify and apply theories of team behavior and management of teams.
- Use analytic and interpersonal skills to effectively lead diverse groups and teams.
- Develop leadership skills that foster creativity and innovation in individuals and teams.
- Analyze the influence of organizational practices and environmental conditions on creativity in organizations.
