INDE 440 - Sustainable Production and Supply Chain Systems

Use of application software and mathematical modeling to optimize economics, quality and sustainability of supply chain operations.

Prerequisites: INDE 360, and either INDE 330 or STAT 316.
Equivalent Quarter Course: INDE 4100.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Understand the individual processes of supply chain management and their interrelationships within individual companies and across the supply chain.
  2. Understand the components of supply chain management
  3. Use analytical tools and techniques to improve supply chain performance
  4. Identify and describe supplier management issues,  risks and performance factors
  5. Design, integrate and optimize sustainable supply chains consistent with green/environmental requirements
