INDE 430 - Design of Work Systems Units: 4 Techniques to maximize labor productivity, employee well-being, and organizational performance. Topics include scientific management, human relations, worker motivation, incentive systems, worker autonomy, management of teams including total productive maintenance and socio-technical systems, integration of quality and sustainability in modern organizations.
Prerequisites: INDE 390. Equivalent Quarter Course: INDE 4280. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply learned concepts and tools to improve organizational performance in novel situations
