TED 544 - Visual Arts III: Instructional Methods in a Single Subject Classroom Units: 3 Introduction to theory and practice of instructional methodology in a single subject classroom. Separate courses for art, Chinese, dance, English, French, Hindi, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies, Spanish and theater.
Prerequisites: Admission to Single Subject Credential Program. Equivalent Quarter Course: TED 5392 and TED 5393 (Prior to 2016-17), TED 5465 and TED 5466 (2016-17 and 2017-18). Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply their knowledge of content literacy in the classroom.
- Use instructional technology appropriate to their content area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a school setting.
- Adapt curriculum as necessitated by the learning demands of their students.
