Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Gain a basic understanding of different theoretical approaches in political science 
  2. Demonstrate through oral and written competency an understanding of the theories, concepts, empirical content and research agendas in political science
  3. Gain a basic understanding of political processes in the US and in the world
  4. Identify different careers that are available to political science students
  5. Interact and discuss readings collaboratively
