KIN 497 - Contemporary Issues in Kinesiology Units: 3 Readings, discussion, and research on contemporary and/or significant issues in kinesiology.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Completed core kinesiology classes. Prerequisites: Kinesiology major. Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 3999. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit when content varies, for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Evaluate contemporary theories, scientific applications, and ethical considerations in Kinesiology
- Interpret and apply research on contemporary issues within Kinesiology.
- Analyze contemporary issues in Kinesiology through the application of knowledge and research
