KIN 497 - Contemporary Issues in Kinesiology

Readings, discussion, and research on contemporary and/or significant issues in kinesiology.

Strongly Recommended Preparation: Completed core kinesiology classes.
Prerequisites: Kinesiology major.
Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 3999.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit when content varies, for a maximum of 6 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Evaluate contemporary theories, scientific applications, and ethical considerations in Kinesiology
  2. Interpret and apply research on contemporary issues within Kinesiology.
  3. Analyze contemporary issues in Kinesiology through the application of knowledge and research
