MATH 330 - Analysis I Units: 3 Field properties of the real numbers. A rigorous study of sequences, completeness, limits, continuity, derivatives and Riemann integration.
Co-requisites: MATH 300. Equivalent Quarter Course: MATH 3300. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Spring ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply the definitions, techniques and theorems of analysis.
- Creatively conjecture and rigorously write, analyze and critique proofs in analysis.
- Communicate solutions to problems in analysis effectively.
- Explain the connections between analysis and the high school curriculum.
