MATH 131 - Calculus II Units: 3 Integration techniques and applications; sequences and series; introduction to differential equations.
Prerequisites: MATH 130 with grade C- or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: Students who have taken MATH 1305 AND MATH 2304 under a recent quarter catalog will receive credit for MATH 131. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply definitions, techniques and theorems to solve problems using sequences, series, and integration.
- Model real world problems using appropriate technology and calculus tools such as integrals, sequences, and differential equations.
- Use the techniques of calculus to solve abstract and applied problems individually and in teams.
