Units:3 Studio lighting, digital imaging and camera techniques for professional portraiture. Students will learn a variety of advanced portrait technique in order to produce professional quality images.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
Use advanced Portrait techniques with studio strobes;
Demonstrate proficiency in creating an estimate and invoice for an editorial photography assignment;
Use portraiture in a fine art context;
Make professional quality portraits using natural light;
Use specialized Photoshop techniques to enhance portraits;
Identify current trends in portrait photography and use in portrait image production;
Work independently on portrait and editorial style photography from concept to final image;
Produce a professional quality portrait portfolio.
