PSYC 100 - General Psychology

An introduction to the scientific study of basic processes underlying human and animal behavior; sensation and perception, learning and thinking, motivation, and emotion.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Understand the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.;
  2. Understand the basic scientific methods of psychology. ;
  3. Apply psychological principles to their own lives and the experiences of others including diverse groups.
