HIST 394 - US Mexico Relations Since 1810 Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: D4; Social Justice U.S.-Mexican relations since 1810 including the Texas Rebellion, U.S.-Mexican War, U.S. economic and military intervention, deportations in the 20th century, the Mexican foreign debt crisis, the narcotics trade, NAFTA, and the Mexican immigrant community in the United States.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area D1-3 requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3, and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
