POSC 354 - American Foreign Policy Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: D4 National security, economic and development assistance policies since World War II. Current policy choices and the constitutional conflict between Congress and the President. Role of the State Department, the military, the CIA, and non-governmental organizations (labor, business, and veterans).
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area D1-3 requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 3505. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
