REC 310 - Women and Leisure Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: D4; Social Justice Leisure and recreational pursuits of women from a creative, historical and cultural perspective. Factors that influence leisure opportunities and how they contribute to the quality of life for women. Social changes related to leisure and the impact on women’s lives.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area D1-3 requirements; and HOS 100, REC 100. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: REC 3202. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). G.E./G.R.
