HIST 393 - Revolutionary Thought in Latin America Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: D4; Social Justice History of revolutionary thought in Latin America as a focus of political and social change, organizing and armed initiatives; discussion of revolutionary theory with a specific focus on race, ethnicity, sexuality, class, and gender.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area D1-3 requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: HIST 3605.
