MUS 312 - Form and Analysis Units: 3 The exploration and analysis of music styles and structural forms of the European art music of the 18th and 19th C. Topics include phrase and sentence structures; thematic organization; binary and ternary forms; variation and rondo forms; slow movement forms; and sonata forms.
Prerequisites: MUS 211, MUS 215, MUS 218. Equivalent Quarter Course: MUS 3051. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
