MUS 431 - Elementary Music Teaching Methods Units: 3 Designed for prospective school music educators. Development of methods, techniques, and knowledge appropriate for teaching elementary general music classes. Study and exploration of elementary music instructional materials and topics. Field trips may be required.
Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing. Equivalent Quarter Course: MUS 4445. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
