PHYS 460 - Astrophysics Units: 3 The study of the physical processes that govern the behavior of astronomical objects, the study of their origin, evolution, and composition, and fate of the Universe as a whole. Topics will include main-sequence stars, collapsed stars, supernovae, galaxies, and cosmology.
Prerequisites: PHYS 330 Equivalent Quarter Course: PHYS 3800. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
