MUS 445 - Piano Pedagogy
Units: 3
A one-semester introduction to professional piano teaching, the course will examine methods, materials, resources, and techniques for teaching at the elementary level. Students will observe secondary piano group instruction and survey a wealth of elementary- to early-intermediate piano repertoire.
Prerequisites: MUS 112, MUS 116.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
