GS 321 - Navigating for Success as a Sankofa Scholar I Units: 1 ; G.E./G.R. Area: E Supports transfer students in the Sankofa Scholars Program Learning Community as they begin their journey at CSUEB. Integrates models and tools of academic success, personal growth, and professional development that are grounded in cultural and community advocacy. Offered in Fall semester. Note: The Diversity Overlay requirement is satisfied upon completion of the two-course sequence, GS 321 and GS 322.
Prerequisites: Junior standing or higher, and department consent. Equivalent Quarter Course: GS 3011. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). G.E./G.R. Area Satisfied: E - Lifelong Learning and Self-Development Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
