KIN 315 - Sport, Culture, and Power Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: D4; Social Justice Examination of sport as a significant social and cultural institution that impacts and is impacted by the larger society. Analysis of past and contemporary issues and controversies through various sociological frameworks.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area D1-3 requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 3750. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. G.E./G.R.
