MUS 302 - What to Listen for in Music Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: C4 Development of a greater appreciation and enjoyment of music through study of selected works. Study of musical elements to develop critical listening skills applicable to all styles of music. Previous musical training not necessary. Field trips may be required.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area C requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: MUS 3002. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online. Grading: A-F grading only. G.E./G.R. Area Satisfied: C4 - Upper Division Arts or Humanities
