MUS 106A - History of Hip-Hop

A survey of Hip Hop music, with an emphasis on its musical elements and influences. Students will acquire the appropriate vocabulary necessary to analyze Hip Hop music and trace its development as a form of human expression.

Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
