Advanced considerations of the ecology, physiology and phylogeny of the various invertebrate phyla emphasizing current literature and research. Topics and emphasis will vary from term to term.

Prerequisites: Post-baccalaureate standing and MSC 424.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MSC 6221.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 8 units.
