SPPA 606 - Augmentative and Alternative Communication
Units:3 Principles of assessment and intervention in augmentative/alternative communication for children and adults with complex communication needs. Includes hands-on experience with software and hardware. Open to professionals in relevant fields with instructor permission. Please note: effective spring 2019 this course prefix will change from SPPA to SLHS.
Prerequisites: Admission to M.S. Speech-Language Pathology program. Equivalent Quarter Course: SPPA 6070. Possible Instructional Methods:Hybrid (every section of this course may be taught both online and on-ground). Grading: A-F grading only.
