SPPA 300 - Communicative and Cognitive Development Across the Lifespan Units: 3 Acquisition and development of speech, language, cognition, and communication from infancy through the lifespan in typically developing individuals. Topics include language and cognitive developmental milestones, development of pragmatic skills, and changes in these abilities across the lifespan. Please note: effective spring 2019 this course prefix will change from SPPA to SLHS.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: PSYC 100. Prerequisites: B.S. Speech Pathology and Audiology majors or B.A. Liberal Studies: Concentration in Studies in Educational Psychology major. Equivalent Quarter Course: SPPA 3852. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only.
