CS 300 - Discovering Computer Science Units: 3 Introduction to computer science. Computational problem solving as a vehicle for scientific inquiry across disciplinary boundaries, computer hardware and software, fundamental principles in computer science including abstraction, efficiency and algorithmic design, programming in Closure, Python, or other high-level programming languages.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Any GE area B4 course. Prerequisites: Completion of GE area B4. Credit Restrictions: Not for Computer Science major or minor credit. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
