MATH 300 - Introduction to Mathematical Proof Units: 3 Introduction to methods of proof used in advanced mathematics, with topics chosen from logic, set theory, abstract algebra, number theory, and real analysis. Provides a transition from lower division mathematics courses to upper division proof-oriented mathematics courses.
Prerequisites: MATH 131 with grade C- or better. Co-requisites: MATH 210. Equivalent Quarter Course: Math 3000. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
