STAT 620 - Probability and Statistical Theory Units: 4 Probability and Statistical models used in many areas. Selected topics may include: basic probability concepts, probability models (discrete, continuous, univariate, and multivariate), sampling and sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, expectation and variance, and simulation.
Prerequisites: Admission to M.S. Statistics major or M.S. Biostatistics program. Equivalent Quarter Course: STAT 6204 and STAT 6205. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only.
