NURS 451 - Community Health Nursing Practice

This course applies concepts related to health promotion and disease prevention at the individual, family, community and systems levels. The focus is to promote health equity by addressing social determinants of health through the application of the nursing process.

Prerequisites: B.S. Nursing major and all of: NURS 420, NURS 421, NURS 422, NURS 423, NURS 427.
Co-requisites: NURS 450.
Equivalent Quarter Course: NURS 4208.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: CR/NC grading only.
