CHEM 112 - General Chemistry II Units: 5 Fundamental principles of chemistry: solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, entropy and free energy, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, transition metals, and organic chemistry. Laboratory includes study of the chemical and physical behavior of elements and compounds, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Lecture Units: 3; Lab Units: 2
Prerequisites: CHEM 111 with grade C- or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: CHEM 1102 and CHEM 1103. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
