BIOL 3121 - Principles of Genetics Units: 5 Comprehensive analysis of gene structure, function, and inheritance incorporating classical and molecular-based approaches. Emphasis on the experimental evidence that has led to our current understanding of the nature of the gene, drawing on examples from bacteria to humans. Prerequisites: BIOL 1401 , BIOL 1402 , BIOL 1403 and CHEM 1101 or equivalents. Credit Restrictions: Not open to students with credit for BIOL 3020 .
