Economics, BS + Business Administration, Marketing Management Concentration, MBA [Blended 4+1]

Total Blended Program Units (BS + MBA): 150

Description:
Students in the FAST BS Economics + MBA program will complete the requirements for both the B.S. and M.B.A degrees. FAST students in this program may double-count up to 12 M.S. units towards both their B.S. and M.B.A. degrees. These 12 units must be completed in residence at East Bay.

Double-Counted Courses:
Double-count up to 12 units (4 courses) toward both the Economics, B.S.   and the Business Administration, M.B.A.: Marketing Management Concentration    degrees as follows: 

• ACCT 604 Financial Accounting   replaces undergraduate free elective
• ECON 606 Managerial Economics   replaces ECON 380 Managerial Economics and Business Strategy    
• FIN 605 Corporate Financial Management   replaces undergraduate free elective
• MGMT 602 Business Analytics for Managers   replaces one undergraduate ECON major elective

Admission Requirements:
All BS Economics undergraduates are eligible to apply for the blended BS/MBA program in Fall semester of their junior year if they fulfill the following requirements: Complete a minimum of 60 units and no more than 90 units towards the BS degree; have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, or GPA of 3.0 or better in the last 60 semester units; and, complete all lower division GE requirements.
