Anthropology Minor


The primary mission of Anthropology is to make the world safe for cultural diversity.  The Anthropology minor prepares students for work and for graduate programs that require a high degree of cultural competence and a capacity for intercultural translation of concepts and customs.  The minor introduces students to the discipline’s four subfields: sociocultural anthropology, biological anthropology, archaeology, and linguistics, ensuing their broad exposure to various aspects of human history, cultures, biology, and behavior.
