Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Describe the constitutional and statutory mandates for investigation;
- Identify key constitutional articles and amendments, as well as case law decisions that proscribe an investigator’s work;
- Define fundamental nature and purposes of recording information and documentation;
- Explain the function of the crime lab, the value of physical evidence to an investigation;
- Summarize the fundamental purpose and nature of interviews.
