Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Explain the interactions between cultural practices and worldviews, fire regimes, and ecology.
- Explain how historical and contemporary social and ecological policies affect Indigenous peoples, fire regimes, and ecological communities.
- Apply socio-ecological field methods to evaluate the effects of fire management.
