REC 693 - Applied Research Project Units: 3 This capstone course involves completion of a field-based project addressing a management problem in one hospitality, recreation, recreation therapy, or tourism organization. The comprehensive management plan will be based on analysis of current research, data, and credible sources.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Analyze current/credible/industry-related research and data, similar plans, operational reports, organization policies, legal requirements, industry standards, and other sources.
- Develop a comprehensive management plan that addresses a management problem in one hospitality, recreation, recreation therapy, or tourism organization.
