BIOL 420 - Cell and Molecular Biology Undergraduate Seminar Units: 2 A seminar course at the undergraduate level emphasizing the reading, interpretation, discussion and analysis of primary literature from the fields of Cell and Molecular Biology.
Prerequisites: BIOL 140B, BIOL 310. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Locate, read and interpret primary sources of literature in the fields of Cell and Molecular Biology;
- Organize a presentation of a scholarly work in Cell and Molecular Biology;
- Analyze conclusions in a scholarly work in Cell and Molecular Biology;
- Lead an interactive discussion among peers of a scholarly work in Cell and Molecular Biology.
