EDUI 630 - Math, Science and Technology Units: 4 California State and National Standards in math and science. Use Internet as a tool to reflect and present best practices of math and science content. Design and develop technology-rich, problem-based learning units in math or science.
Prerequisites: EDUI 620. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate a good understanding of recent developments in instructional technology and STEM.
- Describe the theoretical underpinnings of educational technology and STEM pedagogy.
- Review the research critically in STEM fields.
- Develop research interests and identify a topic for investigation for STEM.
- Apply theories and research of instructional technology to develop STEM instructional materials for the web, mobile applications, and classrooms.
