EDUI 630 - Math, Science and Technology

Units: 4
California State and National Standards in math and science. Use Internet as a tool to reflect and present best practices of math and science content. Design and develop technology-rich, problem-based learning units in math or science.

Prerequisites: EDUI 620.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid or Online-Asynchronous.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Demonstrate a good understanding of recent developments in instructional technology and STEM.
Describe the theoretical underpinnings of educational technology and STEM pedagogy.
Review the research critically in STEM fields.
Develop research interests and identify a topic for investigation for STEM.
Apply theories and research of instructional technology to develop STEM instructional materials for the web, mobile applications, and classrooms.
