ANTH 377 - Museum Studies Anthropology Units: 3 Hands-on experience in museum management. Students learn the role of a curator in acquisition, identification, recording, repair, preservation and display of anthropological materials. Two external museum visits are required.
Prerequisites: One of: ANTH 110, ANTH 120, ANTH 130. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Students will identify, summarize and learn to present the basic schools of anthropological thought in all four academic sub-fields of the discipline to the general public.
