Applied statistical analysis for survival data using SAS. Differences between incomplete, censored, truncated and competing risk data. The survival methods include nonparametric methods, semiparametric and parametric regression methods. Analysis of real clinical data using SAS. Professional report writing.

Prerequisites: STAT 640.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Distinguish different types of survival data and apply appropriate methods to describe and present survival data in summaries, tables and/or graphs.
Formulate solutions to problems and develop statistical models involving survival data.
Implement appropriate SAS procedures to produce appropriate graphs, reports, and statistical output.
Communicate results to others regarding survival analysis
write a professional statistical report.
