This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of social and digital media analytics. Topics include: social and digital media landscape and common metrics, social listening, social and digital media data analysis, interpretation and application.

Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the role and structures of social and digital media conversations in the context of marketing
  2. Examine methodologies for social and digital media data collection and its implications
  3. Evaluate key metrics used for analyzing social and digital media campaigns
  4. Identify trends and insights in social and digital media data
