Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills during team activities;
Demonstrate civic/community engagement through completion of and reflection on a Freshman Day of Service project and the Community Read and its associated activities, all of which focus on issues of environmental sustainability, social justice, and/or diversity;
Reflect on the strategies/skills and growth mindset that lead to success in accomplishing goals/tasks, overcoming challenges, and demonstrating self-agency;
Explain how they will apply the skills and leverage the supports they developed for success during their sophomore year;
Create an academic plan for their sophomore year.
