EPSY 646 - Contemporary Issues: Aging & Long-Term Care

Seminar in theoretical, research, and counseling approaches concerning special issues and populations, such as delinquents, drug users, aged, the poor. 

Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Describe general facts and concerns about aging.
  2. Differentiate between different levels of long-term care.
  3. Identify characteristics of aging problems.
  4. Identify elder abuse issues. Assess family and relational factors related to aging.
  5. Identify and process personal experiences and beliefs related to aging.
