ES 321 - Chicana Feminisms
Units: 3 ; Breadth Area: GE-UD-C; Diversity
A study of Chicana feminism through an examination of key writings, film, drama, art, and activism.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area C requirements.
Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better.
Equivalent Quarter Course: ES 3210.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Identify key themes in Latina feminist thought
- Apply Latina feminist theory to an analysis and appreciation of Latina cultural production (art, film, literature, etc.)
- Describe how Latina feminist principles propel Latinas and others to become active participants in local and global communities
