HOS 320 - Event Leadership Units: 3 Leadership skills and abilities required to be successful event professional. Responsibility of event leaders to address the quality of events, ethics, risk assessment, risk analysis and environmental issues.
Prerequisites: HOS 100, HOS 210, HOS 310, HOS 315, REC 100. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Spring ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify the key aspects of managing and leading people and projects.
- Evaluate examples of financial documents of events to determine sound business practices.
- Develop a quality control plan to measure the success of events.
- Explore ways to implement sustainability into all events.
- Summarize current event technologies that are utilized throughout the event planning process.
- Design a risk assessment plan for events
