HOS 400 - Introduction to Finance in Hospitality, Recreation, Recreation Therapy, and Tourism Units: 3 Financial aspects of the hospitality, recreation and tourism industries, including comprehension of financial statements, preparing budgets, forecasting costs, and managing revenues.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: HOS 100 and REC 100. Prerequisites: B.S. Hospitality and Tourism major. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
